Here’s all the “fun” stuff I feel I need to post in light of this increasingly litigious society.
Disclaimer #1: Any opinions written in here are mine. No one else’s. If you disagree or have a different POV, then that’s great. Leave it in the comments if you want. Because the words here are mine, I also need to mention that I’m not paid to write anything polite. Heck, I’m not paid to do this at all- I’m doing this because I have a deep passion about this area and I want to help visitors get the most out of their visit. One of the goals of this blog is to have *honest* opinions, while keeping things all nice and Southern and polite, y’hear? Of course I’ll be nice but I want you to know that you can come here for honesty and nothing sponsored.
Disclaimer #2: I’m not responsible for any injuries you encounter on a hiking trail, any food may choke on while eating at a restaurant I wrote about, any fender-benders you get into on a back road, or any misadventures you have at an attraction or event. I didn’t make you do any of those things- I just wrote about them and you made the decision to do it.
Disclaimer #3: Anything written in this blog is the sole property and copyright by me, Cassandra Hartley, or any noted guest authors. You didn’t write it, so don’t copy & paste anything without asking me first. If you don’t ask me, then please at least keep the original name on it. I have sharing buttons at the bottom of each article for a reason. Please use those.
Disclaimer #4: This has nothing to do with the Blue Ridge region of Georgia. While I’m sure that area is nice and all, I doubt is has anything on my beloved NC. And while Asheville and Maggie Valley and Bryson City are lovely areas as well, this blog focuses on what Boone, Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, Banner Elk, West Jefferson, and the rest of this area has to offer.
Disclaimer #5: Any and all photos, unless otherwise noted, were taken by me and belong to me. Refer back to #3 on this one.
OK, I think that’s covered my bases pretty well for now. I hope you explore this site and see what this beautiful area has to offer, and then you get out and explore the area and fall in love with it. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions about the area. Get out there and live it up!
